1. Introduction

Sigma Tech India ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Kundli Milan mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Kundli Milan.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Birth Details (Input Data)

To generate compatibility reports, the App requires the following information for both the bride and the groom:

  • Date of birth
  • Time of birth
  • Place of birth

Birth details are processed in-memory only and are never stored on any server. Once your compatibility report is generated, the input data is discarded. We do not maintain any database of user birth details.

2.2 Device & Usage Information

We may automatically collect limited technical data to ensure the App functions correctly:

  • Device type, operating system, and version
  • App version
  • Crash logs and performance diagnostics
  • General usage patterns (e.g., which features are accessed)

This data is collected in aggregate and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • Contacts or address book data
  • Location data (GPS)
  • Photos, media, or files
  • Financial or payment information (all purchases are handled by the respective app store)

3. How We Use Information

The information described above is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Birth details: To compute Vedic compatibility analysis in real-time. Data is processed on-device and/or in transient server memory, then immediately discarded.
  • Device & usage data: To diagnose crashes, improve App performance, and understand feature usage patterns to guide development priorities.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the App.

4. Data Storage & Security

Zero server-side data storage. Birth details are never written to disk, never logged, and never transmitted to any third party. They exist only in volatile memory for the duration of the computation.

Generated reports may be stored locally on your device (e.g., downloaded PDFs). This data resides solely on your device and is under your control. We cannot access it.

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect any transient data during processing, including encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS) between the App and our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with the following third-party services:

  • Google Play Store / Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: For anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring. No personally identifiable information is shared.

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not store birth details or personal information on our servers, there is no user data to retain or delete. Aggregated, anonymous usage analytics may be retained indefinitely to improve the App.

Locally stored reports (PDFs) on your device persist until you delete them. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored App data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Kundli Milan is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data on our servers, traditional data-subject rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are satisfied by design — there is simply no personal data held by us to act upon.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
